Germans really like their greenery and flowers. Now that the weather has warmed up a little, window flower boxes have sprung up everywhere! We’ve even “branched” out a bit and have our own little balcony planter with a variety of pretty flowers. (Being completely inept at keeping plants alive, we hope they’ll make it through the summer!)

i love that about germans! does anyone have those cool flowers that look like they're spilling out the side of the planters/terraces/whatever? i think they're little white flowers or purple.
